academy is committed to bringing down the barriers that may hinder
or stop individuals from reaching their dream of flight.
We believe that the main cause of
failure in flight training can be found in two, sometimes related
areas...lack of adequate budgeting and lack of training frequency.
Our training systems address both of these issues head on. All of
our courses are customized for each student. With this customized
program comes an associated investment. At our pilot career center,
we do our best to ensure that the investment is a realistic total
that encompasses all the expenditures that you may encounter. Unfortunately,
most traditional flight and pilot career schools provide bare, unrealistic
cost estimates. We have found that pilot academy students that undertake
training under false ideas, typically exceed their budget and through
frustration or other reasons, give up their goals. As long as a
student holds up his end of the commitment, you have my word that
we will be honest and forthright about all the possible pilot career
center costs.
In regard to training frequency, we,
through the use of Cessna's revolutionary computer based flight
academy training system, have made training fun. No longer do you
have the boredom of simply "book study". In a nut shell, our flight
academy programs are designed to benefit you by providing you with
the tools to succeed. As a FAR Part 141 certified school, we are
held to a higher standard than most schools. Our pilot academy instructors
and aircraft are approved by the FAA as is our training program
before we can utilize them. We are also held accountable through
continued audits and on-site visit. To you, as a pilot academy student,
you benefit from this certification through a stringent training
syllabus and reduction in flight hours - as an example, our minimum
flight time for the private rating is reduced by 12% and the commercial
rating is reduced by 24% - that equates to a significant savings
to your overall investment.
Pilots train safely and comfortably
in Cessna airplanes. Since 1990, our flight training business has
grown utilizing Cessna aircraft and today we operate the largest
fleet of new Cessna's in the Midwest. As a Cessna Pilot Center,
we leverage computer based, multi media technology with our "hands-on"
flight training. This excellent system is a very effective program
which will allow students the ability to master all the necessary
skills without the rigid time commitment or boredom associated with
traditional schools. It also provides ongoing skill-enhancement
which will improve safety, currency, and pilot confidence.
