Professional Pilot Career Path with
our Accelerated Flight Training

For individuals who are interested in a career as a professional pilot, langaAir has developed a structured step-by-step approach to accomplish that goal.

As you may already know, there are basic ratings or licenses that must be held in order to fly professionally. Once the basic, professional flight school training is completed and the ratings are awarded, the pilot will then be concerned with building flight experience, which is measured in flight hours. Airlines, cargo operators, charter operations, and corporate flight departments will normally consider candidates who posses a minimal amount of flight time for employment. Since most individuals fall short of the "employable level" of flight experience immediately after completing their initial flight school training, the next step is to find an economical means of building flight time experience. Through langaAir's flight instructor internship phase, you will gain the valuable flight time needed to move to your next career step.

Further, most employers in this industry prefer pilots who have some college. Through our affiliation with a local college, you will receive college credit for every course completed at no additional charge - this may be the most cost effective, best valued pilot degree program in the country.

For those interested in a career with the airlines, langaAir has established a relationship with GoJet Airlines. While an instructor with langaAir, you will be eligible for advanced training including Crew Resource Management, CRJ 700 systems training, GoJet operations training, etc. GoJet provides preferential hiring to langaAir's graduates over other applicants at a reduced minimum flight experience level.

A general summary of the professional pilot program follows:
